Seascapes
Livy paints portraits of people (either singly or in groups) as well as animals. All portraits are painted in the Pastel medium
Livy paints scenes at the ocean, either depicting wave activity or the shoreline or ocean and sky or birds and other sea life.
Landscapes
Genre
Landscapes are painted either of a scene at a particular location or even a scene along a river(river walk)or a lake. Mountain views are also a favorite. Livy likes to paint scenes at particular times of day such as sunrise or sunsets and during different seasons, such as winter or fall.
Genre paintings “depict aspects of everyday life by portraying ordinary people engaged in common activities “ I view it as a slice of life, such as a Grandfather and Granddaughter shucking corn together.
